Subject: Tropical Storm Nolo - Kawaihae (Kona) and Hilo Impacts

Dear Valued Customer,

We have been advised that due to Tropical Storm Nolo the Coast Guard will close both the Kawaihae (Kona) and Hilo ports tomorrow, Friday September 25. They will remain closed until further notice.

Matson’s mainline vessels remain on schedule for Honolulu, while Neighbor Island barge service to and from the Big Island will be impacted. Matson is positioning vessels and equipment for a quick resumption of service once ports reopen.

The barge Maui call on Friday, September 25 remains on schedule.

We are monitoring the situation and will continue to keep you updated. Once port operations resume, we will be working hard to expedite the handling of your shipments and minimize any further delays.
