NEWS UPDATE

Dear Valued Customer,

We are providing the following information regarding upcoming holiday closures, schedule changes, and rate adjustments:

HITCO Closure: June 11, 2026
HITCO will be closed on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in observance of King Kamehameha Day. Our Hilo delivery services will resume on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Fourth of July Terminal Closures
All DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express terminals will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, in observance of the Fourth of July.

Fourth of July Holiday Vessel Schedules and Cutoffs
- Southern California (Rancho Dominguez):
- Saturday Sailing, July 4:
- Hawaii Non-Hazardous: 5:00 PM (PST) on Thursday, July 2.
- Hawaii Hazardous: No hazardous cargo will sail. Freight received July 1–2 will roll to the

Wednesday Sailing, July 8.

- Wednesday Sailing, July 8:
- Guam Non-Hazardous: 5:00 PM (PST) on Monday, July 6.
- Guam Hazardous: 5:00 PM (PST) on Thursday, July 2.
-Northern California (San Leandro)

- Wednesday Sailing, July 1

- Noon (PST) on Wednesday, July 1

- Tuesday Sailing, July 7

- All cargo for Honolulu and Guam on 3:30 pm (PST) on Wednesday, July 1.

- Pacific Northwest (Kent):
- No change to the sailing; regular schedule cutoff.



As a reminder –


Fuel Related Increase – Hawaii Operations
Effective Monday, June 1, 2026, the following temporary rate adjustments will apply:


- Honolulu, Maui, and Kona: A temporary 4% increase will apply to on-island delivery rates.
- Hilo: HITCO, will implement a permanent 5% increase on delivery rates and accessorial charges.

​Annual State of Hawaii Wharfage and Port Security Fee Increases
​The State of Hawaii Department of Transportation​ will implement a 3% increase effective Wednesday, July 1, 2026,​ resulting in the following changes​:


- Full Container Load (FCL): State fee increases will be passed through.
- Less-than-Container Load (LCL): Wharfage fees will increase by $0.01 per cubic foot.
- Port Facility Security Fee​ (LCL): DHX will continue to absorb this increase for LCL shipments.

Guam Delivery Increase
​Due to rising operational and fuel costs, the following rate adjustments will apply effective June 15, 2026​:

- LCL (Less-than-Container Load) related rates: 10%
- FCL (Full Container Load) spot rates: 27%
