Dear Valued Customer,

 

Since the beginning of hostilities in the Middle East on February 28, the impact on global oil markets has deepened. Although the ocean carriers initially increased their Fuel Related Surcharge (FRSC) on April 12, fuel costs have remained consistently high due to ongoing production and supply disruptions.

 

As a result of these sustained price pressures, the ocean carriers will implement the following FRSC increases:

 

- Hawaii Service                     Increases from 28% to 31.5%, effective June 7

- Guam Service                       Increases from 29% to 32.5%, effective June 7

- Micronesia Service              Increases from 31% to 34.5%, effective July 12

- Saipan Service*                    The increase will be effective September 12

 

They will continue monitor the situation closely and adjust the surcharge as market conditions evolve.
