Memorial Day Holiday Vessel Schedules and Cutoffs

DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express – Southern California:
The cutoff for hazardous freight to Guam will be 5:00 pm PST Thursday, May 26 and for non-hazardous freight 5:00 pm PST Friday, May 27 for the Wednesday, June 1 sail.
The cutoff for non-hazardous freight to Hawaii will be Tuesday, May 31 for the Wednesday, June 1 sail. There will be no hazardous cargo to Hawaii for the Wednesday, June 1 sail. Hazardous freight received Friday, May 27 will be rolled to the Saturday, June 4 sail.

DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express – Northern California:
The cutoff for the Honolulu and Guam Sailing of May 31 is Thursday, May 26 at noon for both hazardous and non-hazardous freight.

DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express – Seattle: There is no sailing affected by this holiday.
Matson’s Hawaii and Guam Service port facilities will observe the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 30, with hours of operation as follows: 

Matson's Customer Service Center will be closed on May 30 and will reopen on May 31.

Hawaii Interisland Fuel Price Adjustment

We were informed by Young Brothers, Hawaii’s interisland barge service, that effective May 6, 2022 their current Fuel Price Adjustment increased from 4.19% to 5.37%.

In keeping with our policies, we are herein giving our Customers 30 days’ notice as DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express will be absorbing the increase for the first 30 days. Our LCL (Less Than Container Load) Interisland rates will increase by $.04 per cubic foot effective June 13, 2022.

Warehousing and Storage

We have palletized goods storage capabilities in Honolulu, Maui, Kona, and Guam. Our customers are able to monitor inventory levels, ship an order with same day/next day delivery, and use our facilities as a potential “back of the store.” You can increase your retail selling space or free up your workspace in your existing facility and have supplies arrive as you need them.
