DHX - Breaking Alert

4/26/2022

Dear Valued Customer,

We at DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express have been advised by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) that due to weather-related port closures in China, the Daniel K. Inouye 061E is delayed and will arrive in Long Beach Wednesday morning, April 27.

The Daniel K. Inouye 062W, which was originally scheduled to sail out of Long Beach Wednesday morning, April 27, will depart Long Beach Thursday afternoon, April 28, and arrive in Honolulu on Monday afternoon, May 2.

The connecting Neighbor Island barges will be adjusted accordingly.

We are estimating a 24-hour delivery delay for our Oahu deliveries. We are also evaluating a 24-to-48-hour delivery delay for our Neighbor Island deliveries. Our island trucking operations will do everything in their power to expedite the handling of your shipments and to minimize any delay as much as possible.

We will continue to monitor any developments and update you as needed.

Should you have additional questions, please contact your local office, or our Corporate Customer Service center at 800-488-4888, Ext. 2020, or email us at custserv@dhx.com.
