Dear Valued Customer:
 
We have been advised by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) that for both Christmas week and New Years’ week, Matson will only have one sailing from the Port of Oakland. For Christmas week, Matson will be sailing on Wednesday, December 22nd, and for News Years’ week, Matson will be sailing on Wednesday, December 29th. Both sailings will take place in the early morning hours.
 
DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express in Hayward will do everything possible to move the containers we load that would normally sail out of Hayward on Friday to sail out of the Port of Long Beach in Southern California. That being said, due to an anticipated shortage of qualified truck drivers during the Holiday period, we cannot guarantee we will be able to move any cargo containers from Northern California to Southern California. Under the circumstances, we are notifying you that all freight sailing out of Hayward should be received by us on our dock by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, December 20th and 27th, to sail on the next day-Tuesday- or risk waiting until the following week to sail to Hawaii or Guam.
