Keep From Freezing (KFF)

We at DAX-Dependable Alaskan Express would like to remind you that the winter season is upon us. KFF (Keep From Freezing) service will officially go into effect with the northbound voyage on Friday, October 1, 2021.

When KFF service is needed, please ensure to request KFF service at the time of booking your shipment and notate KFF service on your billing instructions and the shipment Bill of Lading.

Fuel Surcharge

As a reminder, and as a result of the continued increases in fuel costs, the Alaska ocean carriers will increase their fuel surcharges by 1% from the current 28% to 29% effective October 3, 2021. We will continue to monitor the Alaska ocean carrier fuel surcharge and adjust our fuel surcharges accordingly.
