DAX - Dependable Alaskan Express

The following is provided for your information:

September 6th, 2021

The Alaskan service of DHX - Dependable Hawaiian Express (which is currently being rebranded to DAX - Dependable Alaskan Express as evidence of our long-term commitment to the Alaska shipping market) will be closed Monday, September 6th, for Labor Day. Please allow 24 to 48-hour delays in your shipment delivery the week of September 6th to 10th.

As a reminder, our receiving hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. On Wednesday and Friday, the receiving cutoff is 2 pm to make the vessel.

While there is so much news available, we felt it was unnecessary to comment other than to state that from the U.S. Mainland, there have been no delays impacting Hawaii or Guam. Shipments exporting from Asia may still experience delays as the ocean carriers cancel sailings and air freight capacity is still somewhat limited.

At DHX–Dependable Hawaiian Express, we have an Emergency Response Plan to ensure your shipments and our services will continue despite the virus. This plan includes our Associates and Management working from home and providing us all with as safe a workplace as we can under the circumstances. Our goal is to continue to serve you with the excellent service to which you are accustomed. We are working both hard and smart to be part of your solution during these difficult times!
