As of April 19, 2021, DGX (Ocean Export, Ocean CFS and Import division) relocated its Los Angeles office and Container Freight Station to the below address. Please ensure all ocean shipments are delivered to our new location in order to avoid delays in service.

GRI Update

The Previously announced LCL Global GRI to be effective on May 1, 2021, has been canceled.

LCL Congestion Surcharge

As a result of increased costs related to the congestion in ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, DGX is announcing a Congestion Surcharge applicable to our LCL rates effective May 31, 2021

Any mitigation and/or delays of the increase will be passed along as applicable.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding of these increases. 

Los Angeles/Long Beach Port congestion

The congestion reported last month continues in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.  The congestion is causing delays for vessels as they wait for space at the dock, delays for truckers as the turn times at the terminals increase, and equipment detention and chassis rental charges as appointments at the terminals become more difficult to obtain without delays. 

There have also been reports of shortages of equipment, chassis, and available truckers at Southern California inland rail ramps.  These shortages are causing similar delays and additional charges similar to those we are experiencing in Southern California ports.

DGX is working diligently to minimize additional detention and chassis charges caused by the port situation.  We work to keep our customers regularly updated on their shipment’s status and any additional charges caused by delays due to congestion.
