Due to an increase in fuel related costs resulting from the transition to more expensive low-sulfur fuel to comply with new International Maritime Organization (IMO) emission regulations going into effect on January 1, 2020, Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) will increase its fuel related surcharge by 3 percentage points. Effective Sunday, November 24, 2019, the fuel related surcharge for Hawaii will be increased from 32% to 35%, Guam/CNMI will be increased from 33% to 36%, and Micronesia from 37% to 40%.

We will continue to monitor Matson's fuel surcharges and adjust our fuel surcharges to you accordingly.
