Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 Commensurate with experience

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent with ocean freight forwarding experience to support our growing logistics operations. This role serves as the primary customer contact, handling shipment inquiries, booking requests, and issue resolution in a fast-paced call center environment. The position also provides receptionist and front desk support as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer calls and emails related to ocean freight shipments
Resolve billing inquiries, POD requests, shipment tracing, and service issues
Enter and manage shipment bookings accurately
Coordinate shipment pickups with trucking partners and carriers
Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer instructions are met
Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
Provide receptionist/front desk coverage when needed
Required & Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of ocean freight forwarding experience (required)
Ocean freight forwarding and trucking experience preferred
3+ years of customer service experience (call center and/or receptionist)
Strong phone communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attendance and reliability
Proficiency with computers and internal systems (Google Workspace, Smartsheet, FreshDesk preferred)
