We Have Moved out of La Mirada

DHX – Dependable Hawaiian Express, formerly Hawaiian Express Service, relocated our 16800 Trojan Way, La Mirada, CA domestic ocean consolidation receiving to our 19201 S. Susana Road, Rancho Dominguez, CA facility Monday, April 19, 2021.

Hawaii and Guam Service Memorial Day Cutoff Schedules

Our US mainland offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2021

• Out of Southern California, the cutoff for hazardous freight to Guam will be 5:00 pm PST Thursday, May 27 and for non-hazardous freight 5:00 pm PST Friday, May 28 for the Wednesday, June 2 sail. 
  The cutoff for non-hazardous freight to Hawaii will be Tuesday, June 1 for the Wednesday, June 2 sail. There will be no hazardous cargo to Hawaii for the Wednesday, June 2 sail. Hazardous freight received Friday, May 28 will be rolled to the Saturday, June 5 sail.
  
  
• Out of Northern California, the cutoff for hazardous and non-hazardous freight to Guam and Hawaii will be 12 noon Thursday, May 27 for the Tuesday, June 1 sail.
  
  
• Out of the Pacific Northwest, there will be no disruption to our regular cutoff schedule.

We have been advised by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) their Hawaii and Guam service port facilities will observe the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, with hours of operation as follows: 

Matson’s Customer Service Center will be open and available on May 31.


Alaska Service Memorial Day Port Schedule

We have been advised by Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) their Alaska terminals will observe the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31 with hours of operations as follows:

Tacoma:  Gate, offices, and CFS terminal (trucking, yard, and dock) will be closed.

Anchorage:  Gate will be open from 0700 to 1200, and from 1300 to 1700.
Offices, terminal and auto lot will be closed.

Kodiak:  Open for vessel operations only. Offices, terminal and auto lot will be closed.

Dutch Harbor:  Gate and terminal will be closed.

Refrigerated Service

DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express has offered full container load refrigerated service to Hawaii in the past. With the acquisition of Hawaiian Express Services our refrigerated services have expanded. We are now offering temperature-controlled services to Hawaii and Alaska for full container loads (FCL) as well as less than container loads (LCL) out of our Hayward, CA location for Hawaii and our Kent, WA location for Alaska. Freeze, Chill and Keep from Freezing (KFF) experience is now offered by DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express to serve your needs.
