Matson Navigation Company (“Matson”) has advised the port of Guam is currently closed due to tropical storm Kammuri, which has intensified rapidly. The Manulani will be delayed approximately one day arriving to Guam. The weather has also delayed the arriving Naha until PM on Saturday, November 30th.       

Tropical storm Kammuri with 40 knot winds, gusts up to 50 knots and wave heights up to 18 feet, is passing 116 nautical miles south of Guam early Wednesday morning and then is projected to move in a northwesterly direction. Matson will advise once the port of Guam is re-opened and there is a new berth window for the Manulani. 

Once the port is re-opened, our first opportunity to start picking up and unloading those containers made available will most likely be Friday afternoon, November 29^th. This will delay our deliveries on Guam until the following Monday, December 2^nd.
