Warehousing and Storage
We have storage capabilities in Honolulu, Maui,
Kona and Guam. To ensure ease of working with us, we’ve purchased new software
that allows our customers to monitor inventory levels, ship an order with same
day/next day delivery, or to use our facilities as “back of the store”. This
allows you to potentially increase your retail selling space and have your
inventory and supplies arrive as you need them. For further information, please

Proud of our Sustainability Record!
DHX-Dependable Hawaiian Express recently completed a carbon audit of their four
owned warehouses and, based on our audit results, purchased carbon offsets in
sufficient quantity to operate our facilities carbon neutral for 2019. (This
excludes our new Honolulu Warehouse, which opened September 1, 2019 and will be
solar-powered by the end of 2019.) We're proud of our record in leading Hawaiian
freight companies in sustainability solutions at our facilities. We've done
some great things, including:

solar sufficient)

Skylights at all facilities

Charging stations for electric
vehicles
·
Converting to LED lighting
·
Training drivers on sustainability
and MPG management
·
Paper recycling
·
Pallet and plastic recycling at our
Southern California facility

Resources Board’s “sparklist” requirements

Dependable Hawaiian Express Day Proclamation
The below proclamation was presented to our company
with respect to our new Honolulu facility during its Opening Blessing Ceremony
on September 20, 2019.
City and County of Honolulu State of Hawaii
Proclamation:
WHEREAS, Dependable Hawaiian Express of DHX,
located at 432 Pacific Street in the Iwilei area of Honolulu, has become a
superior ocean freight forwarder in Honolulu and all of Hawai’i since 1980 and
trucking company on O’ahu since 1992; and
WHEREAS, DHX after 15 years of remediation and
development efforts, has constructed its 76,000 square foot terminal thereby
making this property into a useful and productive parcel of land, employing
approximately 100 people; and
WHEREAS, DHX has been recognized as a Hawaiian
clean fleet by the Blue Planet Foundation and an active partner of Smartway, a
U.S. Government EPS partnership with truckers, to improve use of fuel and oil
efficiency and reduce carbon emissions; and
WHEREAS, during the 16-month construction phase
of its terminal, DHX under the leadership of its President, Brad Dechter,
raised over $50,000 for the Kahauiki Village and the Salvation Army Hawai’i
Pacific Division, benefitting the homeless in Honolulu through its Beard for
Buck$ campaign; and
WHEREAS, on Friday, September 20, 2019 DHX will
celebrate the inauguration and opening of its new 76,000 square foot terminal.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, KIRK CALDWELL, Mayor of the
City and County of Honolulu, do hereby proclaim September 20, 2019 to be
DEPENDABLE
HAWAIIAN EXPRESS DAY
in recognition of the exemplary service of
Dependable Hawaiian Express (DHX) to the Hawai’i community.
