Breaking Alert
6/28/2017
Dear
Valued Customer,
Please
note the following announcement from Matson Navigation Company regarding an
advanced sailing of Mokihana 349W from the Port of Long Beach:
From
Matson:
Matson
remains in negotiations on new labor contracts with unions representing
unlicensed crew on our ships serving Hawaii and Guam in Matson domestic
trades. The current contracts with these groups expire June 30 at
24:00 Pacific time.
Matson and the unions have worked together without interruption since the
1960s. We remain cautiously optimistic about reaching a timely, fair, and
equitable agreement once again.
Out of an abundance of caution and to provide certainty for our customers,
Matson has decided to advance the sailing of Mokihana 349W. Our new cut off and sailing time will
be:
Cut off: Friday, 6/30 20:00
Sailing: Friday, 6/30 23:00
Because
of this advanced sailing schedule, DHX will move the cut-off from our Rancho
Dominguez facility to Friday, 6/30/17 at noon. We apologize for any
inconvenience this change will cause you.
Should you have additional questions, please contact your local
representative or call our corporate office at 1-800-488-4888 or 1-310-537-2000,
ext. 2020.
Thank you for your business - we
appreciate it!
