Job Listing: Import Coordinator

Position Description:

Remote (work from home) - must be located within Southern California

This position is primarily responsible for:

  • Import documentation collection, creation, review, and processing
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and filings
  • Shipment track and trace
  • Facilitate payment to carriers and vendors
  • Process billing to customers and agents
  • Monitor collection of payment & original bills of lading for freight release
  • Customer service for both internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with overseas agents on a daily basis to coordinate inbound shipments.
  • Arrange shipment on forwarding to customer’s specified destinations.
  • Shipment troubleshooting
  • Telecommuting position


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in Import Ocean FCL & LCL Operations and Import Air
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel
  • Cargowise experience is highly desired
  • Ability to telecommute
