Position Description:

Forklift Driver/Freight Handler Position Starting Salary $18.00 per hour based on experience.

We are a Freight Forwarder who ships to the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska and Guam.

We are looking for a Forklift Driver/Freight Handler to work in our Rancho Dominguez, CA terminal.

The position involves driving a forklift to move freight out of trailers and into ocean transportation containers.

You need to be able to accurately receive inbound freight and accurately load outbound freight into containers.

Duties include unloading freight from trucks, flatbeds and trailers. Accurately processing receiving paperwork. Stacking/cubing palletized freight, shrink wrap palletized and non-palletized freight. Loading freight into containers as per a load plan.

Position also includes assisting with other dock duties.

You will be responsible for the safe operations of a propane forklift to perform the unloading, loading and movement of palletized and non-palletized freight.

We are looking for an experienced forklift operator/freight handlers who can drive a forklift with skill and who has previous loading/unloading experience.
