Fuel Surcharge Reduction
Matson Navigation Company ("Matson") previously announced that effective with
sailings on or after July 18, 2010, it reduced its fuel surcharge rate 2%. The Hawaii fuel surcharge was reduced from 27.5% to 25.5% and the Guam fuel surcharge was reduced from 29% to 27%.
Horizon Lines also confirmed that they have reduced their fuel surcharge and matched Matson’s change/rate.
Wharfage Increase
In accordance with our Newsflash dated February 18, 2010, our wharfage to Hawaii increased $.02 per cubic foot, effective with sailings on or after July 1, 2010.
