Rate Changes

The following increase/adjustment is noted for your information:

Hawaii and Guam Ocean Fuel Surcharge

Matson Navigation Company (Matson) increased their ocean fuel surcharge by 3.5 percentage points, from 24 to 27.5 percent for its Hawaii service, and from 25.5 to 29 percent for its Guam/CNMI and Micronesia service, effective February 7, 2010. Accordingly, we increased our fuel surcharge for Hawaii shipments to 27.5 percent and for Guam and Micronesia shipments to 29 percent, effective with sailings on or after February 7, 2010.

The adjustment to our rates represents a pass-through of our underlying costs. We appreciate your understanding in these matters. We will continue to closely monitor fuel surcharges and will adjust our Fuel Surcharge as the underlying ocean carriers change their surcharge.
